The Ninjas
So who are the two brilliant masterminds behind this blog you ask? Contrary to popular belief, we’re actually not crazy, rather just two very creative and witty individuals. It occured to us one day during one of our numerous conversations that we should share some of our brilliant insights with the world. Hence, this blog was born! Everything you read on here comes from our everyday conversations — yes, we really are that awesome. As for the names Bug and Bean, well, I’m not even entirely sure how or when those came about, just nicknames we’ve called each other and which have stuck. Works for us!
The Bean, otherwise known as Sari, is the writer and graphic designer of the family. (She’s the one who keeps this place looking good.) She’s got several university degrees and knowledge in just about every subject from fashion to medieval history, which can come quite in handy sometimes. She’s creative, quirky, an excellent bakestress and just downright hilarious. Overall, pretty awesome.
The Bug, or Lou, is the little sister here. She’s also university-educated and is known as the artist in the family. Visual, musical — she dabbles in it all, depending on her mood of the day. She’s also got more interests than could be listed on this page, varying between every subject you can imagine. (Okay, we admit it, we’re both sort of nerds.) She’s also very creative, witty, and overall pretty awesome. Except she can’t bake if her life depended on it.
More could be said, but really, you don’t need to know that much about us. We are the Bug and the Bean and this is our blog. We’ll write whatever we want, and whether or not you like it really isn’t our problem!
